New Appointment: Principal Middle School

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr William Struthers as our new Principal of the Middle School, commencing in January 2024.

Mr Struthers joined Scots College in 2010 as a Teacher of English, and as his career has progressed at Scots, he has been a master in the Boarding House, the Assistant IB Diploma Co-ordinator, Head of Middle School English, and, most recently, Deputy Principal of the Middle School since 2016. Prior to joining Scots College, Mr Struthers had ten years experience teaching and holding leadership positions in various state and independent schools in South America and in the UK.

Mr Struthers has indicated a desire to further grow and develop our Middle School, building upon the wonderful position it currently finds itself in. These developments will focus on fostering the desire for all students to be the best versions of themselves, to strive for excellence and to achieve their personal and academic potential in a safe and supportive pastoral environment.
