Volleyball
Volleyball at Scots College is experiencing remarkable growth, with player numbers tripling in recent years. This expansion reflects the College's commitment to providing quality training and competition opportunities.
The volleyball programme at Scots College is led by a skilled coaching team that includes College staff and external professionals, many of whom are current or former New Zealand representatives. All training sessions take place in the Scots College Gym, with the Premier Teams benefiting from additional sessions at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre in Kilbirnie.
Past seasons have seen some outstanding achievements for Scots Volleyball. The 2023 Senior A Girls team delivered an exceptional performance, going undefeated in the Term 1 Division 2 competition. A standout moment came when one student represented New Zealand Māori on the Cook Island Tour, while another was selected for the Wellington Regional U15 team. These achievements are testament to the programme’s ability to develop talent for representative honors.
