Scots College provides students from Years 3 to 13 the chance to showcase their tennis talent at inter-school fixtures and tournaments during Terms 1 and 4. Tennis also plays a prominent role in Summer Tournament Week, offering athletes a platform to compete and excel around the country.

Recent years have seen exceptional achievements, including Scots College winning both the Girls and Boys Singles titles at the 2023 College Sport Wellington Open Tennis Championships. The school also secured Silver at the prestigious NZ Secondary Schools Tennis Cup in Christchurch, solidifying its position among the country’s top tennis programmes.

In 2023, our Senior Mixed Tennis Team was named Team of the Year at the College Sport Wellington awards. On an international level, one senior student represented New Zealand in Australia at the U15 level, while another claimed the doubles title at the MAPEI Gold Coast Junior International ITF Tournament.
