Cycling
Cycling at Scots College began 18 years ago, fueled by the passion of a group of dedicated parents and teachers. While the focus is primarily on road cycling with a racing edge, students also train for triathlon, mountain biking, cyclocross, and track cycling, making it a diverse and dynamic programme.
The programme's mission is to instill a lifelong love of cycling while helping students achieve their cycling goals through a consistent, professional training regimen. Weekly training rides provide excellent opportunities for skill development, camaraderie, and fitness, while the competitive calendar offers both local and national racing challenges. Some of the highlights of the racing calendar include National Races in Cambridge (Term 2) and Palmerston North (Term 3), and local races throughout June and July
