Leave A Legacy
Leaving a bequest to Scots College is instrumental in securing the necessary resources to enhance educational programmes, invest in infrastructure, and provide scholarships, ensuring that our students have access to exceptional learning opportunities.
The generosity of our wider school community over many decades has been a vital factor in Scots College achieving a status that is widely recognised today.
As an independent school we rely on the generosity of Collegians, parents, and friends of the College. Government funding is minimal.
By confirming your intention to support Scots College in your will, you will receive a gift like no other – the gift of knowing that you will influence the lives of future generations.
So many who have spent a significant part of their lives here, whether as students, staff or parents, have recognised that Scots College shaped them in a number of major ways. These strong memories have inspired people to designate a place for Scots College in their will.
Please consider furthering this wonderful tradition of giving by making a bequest to your College. Gifts of all sizes are welcome and can be revised at any time to suit your current circumstances.
“A bequest to Scots College will cost you nothing today, but will have an enduring impact on future generations.”

Meet Our Donors
Lady Letha Plimmer
Lady Plimmer was the mother of four Scots College Old Boys and the wife of one of our earliest Old Boys. A long standing supporter of the College, Lady Plimmer was also a generous benefactor of the College making provision in her will for a sizable donation towards the Foundation Scholarship Fund.
Garry Day
Garry attended Scots College from 1951 – 1957, and contributed significantly to the College community, playing in the Hockey 1st XI and Tennis A team, as well as singing in the choir. He was also a Corporal in the Air Training Corps in 1956 and Sergeant in 1957. Garry’s legacy at Scots College endures through his generous bequest towards College development and scholarships. In July 2024, the Garry Day Centre was opened: this includes a spacious new weights room, changing rooms, staff work areas, and two additional classrooms. Garry's bequest also allowed for the establishment of a new scholarship. His generosity leaves a lasting impact on our community and supports future generations of students.
