Welcome to Scots College. We warmly invite you to learn more about how to apply for a place at our College. We aim to make the enrolment process as straightforward as possible, and ensure you have all the information you need.

Please see below for a list of the most Frequently Asked Questions. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us at enquiries@scotscollege.school.nz. We look forward to welcoming your family to become part of the Scots College community.

How Do I Apply?

If you are applying from within New Zealand, simply click here to complete our online enrolment form.
If you are an international student, please click here.

What Happens After I Send In An Application Form?

You will be contacted by one of our staff to let you know the status of your application and to arrange an interview with the Principal.

How likely is it that my child will be offered a place at Scots College?

Scots College has seen a significant increase in enquiries and enrolments in recent years, and we feel it is important to offer a clear enrolment process, as places are currently filling faster than in previous years. When we reach capacity, we institute a waitpool system. You will be notified if your application is in the waitpool.

What are your fees?

The fees for Scots College can be found on our Enrolment & Fees page.

All new families to the College are required to pay their monthly account by Direct Debit, unless alternative arrangements are made that are acceptable to the College.

Do you offer scholarships?

Scholarships are an important part of Scots College and are available to students in Years 7 and 9, as well as Senior School students (Years 11-13). The Year 7 and Year 9 scholarship applications for 2025 closed on 4 April 2024 for both internal and external applicants. The 2025 applications for Senior School students closed on 31 May 2024.

This is a great opportunity to ask questions and really get to know the College.

Our next Principals' Tours will be held on 9-13 September for the Junior and Middle Schools. Registration is now open, and we look forward to seeing you there.
