  • Chartres Hall

    Chartres Hall is the Dining area for students and boarders. Equipped with full kitchen facilities, Chartres Hall is also host to a number of events throughout the year.

  • Director of Boarding House

    The in-campus residence of the Director of Boarding, Geoff Hall and family.

  • Foundation Courts

    The Foundation Courts have an astro-turf all weather surface. The upgrade was made possible by funds raised at the 2008 Gala. The newly-refurbished courts were officially opened on 11 November 2009 by Judith Gray, Convenor of the 2008 College Gala.

    The addition of basketball hoops, donated by the parents through this year’s Annual Giving programme will be installed in the New Year.

  • Gibb House (Boarding)

    Named after one of its founders, Gibb House is the College’s boarding facility. Gibb House can accommodate up to 60 boys in modern, comfortable surrounds. Families have the choice of Five-day or Seven-day boarding; shorter stays can be arranged depending on availability.

    The Director of Boarding is Geoff Hall.

  • Gymnasium

    The gymnasium is an indoor facility with a multi-purpose court for playing such sporting activities as basketball and volleyball. Also included is a weight training room.

  • Health Centre

    The Health Centre is managed by two Nurses and provides basic medical services. The Health Centre also monitors students who need medical supervision (such as diabetics) and also educates the staff on these conditions. The Health Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8.30AM – 3.30PM.

  • Information Centre (1st Floor)

    The Secondary School Information Centre is comprised of a technologically advanced learning resources centre as well as a library. Here students are assisted by a team of qualified staff to obtain and process information. Students are encouraged to develop a high level of understanding and independence in their learning.

    Located on the first floor of the Aitken Building, the Information Centre gives access to information in all formats from one central area. Students have access to the computerised catalogue, the internet and audio-visual equipment.

     

  • Playing field

    The Playing Field of approximately 25,000 m2 is the venue for many activities at Scots College. It is host to various sporting activities including House competitions, and during the highly-anticipated Gala it transforms into a festive place.
