Scots College athletes finished the winter season in style at the CSW Road Race Championships held in Heretaunga. Callum Stewart led all the way to win the Year 9 Boys 3km race, with a fine 4th place finish from Simeo Pont. Hockey 3rd XI wins Reserve 2 Grade
The 3rd XI won Reserve 2 Grade last night (19 September 2012) against Hutt Valley High School. The game was locked up at 1-1 the end of extra time and went to strokes. Scots won 4-2 with all stroke takers being successful and Josh Wickens (in goal) saving 2. A great effort from all the boys and a big thanks to Gail Moynagh for helping coach this team. Top prize for Josh and Jason in Speech Competition
The 5th Wellington Chinese Language School Speech Competition was held on 8 September (preliminaries) and 15 September (finals). The competition is open to students who are learning Chinese as part of their school curriculum. Josh Wilson (Y9) and Jason Su (Y8) both won the first prize in their year category. Manraj Rahi (Y8) also participated in the preliminaries for the year 7-8 category. He did an awesome speech as well....
